Pembroke School

Cheesman Architects has worked with Pembroke School, one of Adelaide's leading co-educational schools, over the past 10 years and has developed a strong appreciation of the school's philosophy.

Developments by Cheesman Architects have included the Senior School Girls Boarding House and catering facilities, Senior School Library, Middle School Student Café, Junior School Boys Boarding House and Senior School Resource Centre and English Department Building, the latter of which was the keystone in establishing and founding the overall site Master Plan.

The school has multiple campuses separated by major roadways which presented design and construction challenges. Cheesman Architects has been responsible for campus Master Planning, which is periodically reviewed to ensure ongoing currency and validity for the school's continuing development.
