Mitcham Girls High School

A multi-stage redevelopment and extension of this renowned girls-only public high school campus which is dominated by 1960's era classroom buildings. The works encompassed the delivery of new buildings providing classrooms, performing arts and theatre spaces, a library resource centre, IT, administration and teachers' facilities to meet the needs of a changing world.

The new architecture respects the materials and form of the original buildings through a reinvigorated modern interpretation. The new facilities place particular emphasis on a sense of community and the use of internal and external movement spaces as places to meet and learn.
