400 King William Street

This project comprises a 22,000 sqm multi-level commercial building, located in a section of King William Street that was previously neglected by property developers.

The challenge was to develop a large building, with a 90m western facing frontage incorporating a strong Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) focus. The design solution also needed to be sympathetic to the surrounding low rise buildings. The result is a striking light frameless glass structure hovering above a solid base.

This is regarded as a landmark building which will rejuvenate the south side of the city of Adelaide and is considered a catalyst for other developments in the area.
