Daronmont Defence Technologies - Mawson Lakes

This project encompassed the recycling of heritage-listed bluestone buildings and the provision of new structures to form an integrated campus for Daronmont Technologies - a progressive engineering services company specialising in the development of specialised defence radar and surveillance systems

The design solution was to capture and compliment the beautiful qualities of the original buildings and associated grove of peppertrees with modern architectural additions incorporating modern and historic materials. The facilities were required to comply with defence standard security requirements and accommodate significant IT infrastructure without compromising the integrity of the original buildings.

The new buildings were designed to meet the requirements of the GBCA Greenstar Office Tool rating system and incorporate extensive environmental and low-energy design initiatives.
