The Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Redevelopment Stage 2
This project is a $120M redevelopment of one of Adelaide's major acute care hospitals and involved the delivery of several new buildings in response to a Master Plan developed by Cheesman Architects.
This hospital is one of the first buildings to be assessed by the Green Building Council of Australia for sustainability and is expected to achieve the highest standards for hospitals in Australia.
The project was delivered on a fully operational site without any interruption to services and includes state-of-the-art in-patient, treatment and research facilities.
There was a very high emphasis on maintaining the social and cultural significance of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the project was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.
In collaboration with Silver Thomas Hanley Perth.
