Sheldon Street, Norwood

This is a competition-winning design for the rejuvenation of disused light industrial land in the multi-cultural inner-Adelaide suburb of Norwood.

The design proposed the development of a community of medium-density housing focussed around a discrete village common providing shared 'private public' space for all residents.

Linking linear parks provide dedicated pedestrian access through to the nearby commercial precincts and public transport. The completed development has been recognised in particular for its creation of high-value public space.
